Correspondence to Morley Roberts, 1923.

Hubert (Huberto) Hudson writes in response to a letter from Roberts, apparently replying to certain questions Roberts had asked. There is a reference to W. H. Hudson's sister Mary Ellen. He also mentions receiving a watch and chain from his uncle's estate. His letter is accompanied by a typed memorandum entitled The Hudson Family, which he wrote for Roberts. The memorandum gives biographical information about W. H. Hudson's parents and siblings, and a little about Hubert Hudson himself and his own siblings. This letter was among items found laid in and removed from Morley Roberts's personal copy of his book W. H. Hudson: a portrait (see Box 9).
